How Do I Visit an Inmate in Mount Pleasant City Jail?

Individuals interested in visiting inmates in the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center can conduct video visits with inmates incarcerated for more than 72 hours. Physical visits occur on Saturdays and Sundays. However, friends and families who wish to visit must first confirm scheduled dates and times with the inmate before scheduling appointments using the online visitation scheduler.

Visitors must provide government-issued photo IDs and avoid bringing personal effects such as money, cell phones, and cigarettes into the visitation area.
